ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN:
I require plans or sketches of the project...
...to create a 3D model and the environment. Then I set up camera positions...
... apply materials to the model and set up the lightning. Some computer magic later and voila, an image is made.
PRODUCT DESIGN:
Pretty similar, depends on the subject. Anything can be visualized and tested before being put in production.
